Empanadas

From scratch with fresh ingredients Argentinian empanadas Woods Cross

BEEF (Argentina)

  

Tucumana style. Ground beef cooked with onions, paprika, parsley, oregano and other condiments. With hard boiled eggs and green onions. 

CHICKEN (Argentina)

  

Juicy chicken breast, shredded and cooked with onions, bell peppers, carrots and seasoned with paprika, and other spices. With hard boiled eggs and olives. 

BIRRIA (Mexico)

  

Tender chuck roast beef cooked in a red mild to medium spicy broth with Mexican spices. Baked with cheese and served with a side of consome (broth).

CAPRESSE (Italy)

  

Mozzarella, provolone and gouda cheese with diced tomatoes, fresh basil and a dash of seasoned tomato sauce.

HAM & CHEESE (Argentina)

Mozzarella, provolone and gouda cheese with diced ham seasoned with salt and pepper.

CHORIZO & EGG (Mexico)

Mexican chorizo with eggs and potatoes, seasoned with onions and peppers.

SPINACH (Argentina)

NEW

Sautéed spinach in a creamy sauce with hard boiled eggs and cheese.

ENSALADA RUSA

Argentinian potato salad. Cold salad with potatoes, carrots, peas, hard boiled eggs in a creamy dressing.

PICADITA (Charcuterie)

A charcuterie spread with cheeses, cured meats, olives, bread, fruit, honey and jam.

CHARCUTERIE TRAYS

NEW

14" round tray for 6-8 people. Three meats, four cheeses, 4 jams (choose from sweet and spicy), honey, crackers, Baggett, veggies, fresh fruit, antipasto, dried fruit, and sweets.

CHIMICHURRI

Our house special chimichurri sauce includes fresh parsley, garlic, oregano, olive oil, wine vinegar and other ingredients. It elevates every bite on an empanada, but also great on basically any other food! A must try!!!

CRIOLLA SAUCE

Fresh ingredients such as tomato, bell peppers, garlic and onions are finely chopped and macerated in a mixture of olive oil and wine vinegar. 

SPICY TOMATO SALSA

Tomatoes and red dried chilis. This salsa is perfect for the birria and chorizo empanada but also goes great with anything as a simple sauce to add a bit of heat.

APPLE A LA DULCE DE LECHE EMPANADA

 Our first sweet empanada with apple pie filling and a dulce de leche center.

ALFAJOR DE MAIZENA

  

Sandwich cookie made from cornstarch, filled with dulce de leche and coated with coconut.

ALFAJOR MARPLATENSE

  

Two thin chocolate cookies sandwiched together, filled with gooey dulce de leche and covered with a thin layer of dark high-quality chocolate.

ALFAJOR PISTACHIO

Two thin pistachio cookies sandwiched together, filled with a creamy pistachio filling and raspberry center covered with white chocolate.

Two thin sugar cookies sandwiched together with a white passionfruit ganache and passionfruit center, covered with white chocolate.

TRES LECHES CAKE IN A JAR

  

Our delicious tres leches cake features three types of milk: whole milk, condensed milk, and evaporated milk. Filled with cream cheese and strawberry filling and topped with white chocolate Chantilly. An excellent cake for milk lovers! 

KEYLIME PIE

  

Sweet, tangy and refreshing tart pie topped with our lightly sweetened Chantilly.

TRES LECHES MOSAIC JELLO

  

Three different fruity-flavored gelatin cubes are mixed with three milk-based gelatin to form a colorful mosaic pattern in every slice. Topped with Chantilly cream.
